What if...
I wasn't raised Christian/Baptist/religious?
Our congregation is made up of people from diverse backgrounds, and we don't expect our visitors to have any specific knowledge.
I have doubts about God?
One remarkable point of the Baptist faith is that we acknowledge that people have doubts! It's only by working through those doubts that you can accept Christ as your personal Savior. Many of our members are willing to share their own stories about how the decision to follow Christ has impacted their lives. Read About God for an introduction, and then join us, doubts and all, and see if we can guide you to resources to help resolve your questions.
I'm not so sure about the Bible?
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. We acknowledge that modern society makes this difficult! A number of our teachers can be a wonderful resource for an educated discussion on this issue. Contact us and see if we can help.
I'm not sure what to wear?
We're interested in your presence, not your fashion sense. Casual clothing is perfectly acceptable.
I'm not good enough?
We recognize that all people sin, it's the reason we need a Savior! God calls sinners of all kinds to do His work, throughout the Bible and today. Not one of us is perfect, and we don't expect you to be either.
I'm already a Christian, and I'm not sure I need a church?
Church attendance is not required for salvation: we are saved by faith through grace alone. There is no deed you can do to "earn" salvation. It is a free gift when you profess faith in Jesus Christ!
The New Testament of the Bible speaks a great deal about church. In fact there are more than 30 commands that you cannot follow without joining a local church. Many people have been discouraged by negative past experiences with organized religion. Just as people are imperfect, so is the church! Join us in worship and see if our community is a better fit for you.
